All these Scottish foreigners taking all the jobs away from the English people and claiming benefits in England and if they get really sick they can get free prescriptions by nipping back to Scotland for the day.. Shouldn't be allowed ! I bet they have to pay for extra English teachers too in the schools as it is hard to be able to inderstand that Glasgow accent. I may start another thread too, 'don't let the Scots buy our homes in England !' :) Of course I really like most Scottish people :))

Yes I have :) I've been to Scotland on business many times in the past.........Glasgow was the best, the first time I went there and asked a local for directions, it blew my mind as I couldn't understand the thick accent. And the guy just kept saying something to me and I didn't realise that he was asking me if I wanted him to repeat the directions LOL.... I have two friends who are Scottish too....... My previous post was of course a wind up........

That's cool, Lir. I'm not gonna lower it and say that even I haven't met most Scottish people from having lived there for 25 years. Wind ups are healthy and needed. People make a living off of them :) Back to the thread, it's expensive to go home for some Poles and they'd rather live cheaply in a foreign country which offers more choices as the UK usually does. Most live very modest lifestyles.

FACT Most polish immigrant work in unskilled brain dead jobs and pay a pittance in ta from that they consume public services, council services, education, JSA, child benefits, housing benefits, NHS, it costs £5000 A year to keep one polack child in education. It is the previous generation who contributes for the new generation and so on. My family have been paying tax for 30years plus.

I do agree with you, very much. Somewhere, everything has got very twisted and the dreaded "R" word is, sadly, never too faraway should anyone dare question the current situation. As I've said many times before, both on here and elsewhere, this situation hasn't dropped out of a clear blue sky. We've arrived at where we are after DECADES of successive Governments pretending that nothing is wrong. There is nothing wrong in imimgration, but it needs to be controlled and we (just like anywhere) can only hold so many people.

Dealing with NHS daily as I do I can safely say this, in dealing with the GP's I come across many British born GP's and only some non-British born GP's. HOWEVER, as soon as I have to deal with a hospital it's reversed. A large number of the doctors and surgeons who preform absolute miracles on people are non-British born. So it's OK to utilise them but not give a hairy banana about those people who come from the same country as that doctor or surgeon? glaswegians: My family have been paying tax for 30years plus. Where did they come from before then?
