there are a lot of Poles in canadia but UK is natural way to come through as it is the mother of the commonwealths.

Nobody has mentioned it yet. The distance aspect. Surely this must be a factor. It's not exactly cheap to fly out to Canada from here but, depending on the season, it's pretty cheap to get to the UK.

Besides, who has ever heard of the Canadian dream? LOL

LOL. She is one of many.

Anyways. Distance is probably one of the resons people dpn't immigrate here so easily.

Another one whcih most posters ovelooked so far is the weather: winter in particular. It is long and hard, so it is something to keep in mind.

Immigration laws are pretty strict and it is not as easy to get in as it used to be.

Canada is aiming for people with education, laboures and people who want to invest their money here.

There is a lot of space and with teh global warming the weather might get warmer. LOL

I did but in general, in comparison to UK, I believe that that that that the Canadian immigration laws are strict. There are 5 different immigration groups and their entrance is based on different reguirements. I posted the general link.

Also, there is a backlog in applications and just because your papers have being process is not a guarantee that one will get in fast.

Why do I have a feeling that you tried to get into Canada at one point?
