Canadian female with Polish partner -immigration questions

Hi...Can anyone tell me about a Canadian citizen being in a relationship with a Polish partner. We want to be together but currently have no plans to marry. We want to live together in the UK or Poland. How does immigration work? Does anyone know the in's and out's of what is required for me (canadian) to apply to immigration to be with my polish partner. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.

i don't think you'd have issues moving to UK.. the commonwealth thing, eh? poland more paperwork but call you nearest polish embassy or consulate.
