I was supposed to go to Chicago this weekend... I was supposed to leave 4 hours ago... my roomate bailed out on me. It was going to be a great birthday weekend... oh well, right? The bluesfest would have been great to have taken in...

Theres plenty of more festivals going on

every weekend theres a partys happening

what a great link... now I'm really bummed about not going this weekend. _i'm not sure the exact place where we were going... just going for the road trip and check out the art scene.

The Art Institute of Chicago is awesome I went there last winter

Yes, I live in the US-- I'm about 7 hours away from the city. I've never visited Chicago before, but I have a friend who I went to art school with who just moved out there... my roomate knows him better, but we were going to stay with him.
