Staying here illegally is not an option for me. I was thinking about studying here but its so expensive... How foreigners do that??? Since when they study they still cant legally work... krysia 23 | 3,058 8 Nov 2007 / #19You can apply for a student visa to come study in the US, otherwise if you're on a tourist visa, there's not much you can do, unless you overstay your visa and upon return to poland, you won't get a visa for 10 years after that cute little stunt.
EmmaL7707 11 Mar 2009 / #20I'm glad that you like it here! But, unfortunately, it is very difficult for you to become a permanent resident. I'm Amercian and my husband is from Poland. Even though we got married it was still very difficult for him to a green card. We had plenty of evidence that our marriage was genuine as we had been together for years (both in Poland and in the US), yet the USCIS gave us a very hard time. Perhaps you can find an employer who can sponsor you, but he/she has to prove that no American citizen or resident can do the same work. It's difficult indeed!!!You have a better chance of permanent status in Canada! I would go there if I were you!
