It's been about a month since I've moved to this beautiful city and I've been slowly sniffing out signs of the Polish community...there aren't that many, but I'm managing.

My question is - Where can I go to watch the soccer game tomorrow? Poland is playing Portugal and it might be a deciding game with regards to our EURO chances for next year. I can't seem to find any place that will show the game...oh maybe 1 Portuguese bar, but who wants that? Might as well watch it on the net then.

So tell me - are there any Polish bars in town? If not, do Poles go to a particular place to catch sporting events such as this...if u read this and know somethign please message me, the game's tomorrow!

Thread attached on merging:
Any poles in Montreal??

Czesc!
I just moved to Montreal (26) from Toronto and would like to meet some poles in Montreal. Is there any polish social groups, polishhappyhour or anything comparable to the social meet up groups that exists in other cities in Montreal??

If you are trying to catch a nightbus home and live east of centre, you will end up at Frontenac metro station. Chances are you will sit there frozen for quite some time and an interesting group of people will form around you.
Right across the street is Dom Polski, and catty-corner is a Polish bakery, but those are the only outward signs of Polish heritage I ever caught in Montreal. However, I'm pretty sure I saw a Quinceanera disbanding at Dom Polski once, so I doubt the hall serves its original purpose.
