Polish attractions in Michigan----outside of Hamtramck

I'm going to Michigan in 3 weeks and was wondering if there were any good polish related things/places I should know about. I read the various restaurant/market threads and Hamtramck threads, which were both really helpful. Anything else?



I'll be in the Royal Oak/Warren/Detroit/Sterling Heights/St. Claire Shores areas as I have family in each.

Orchard Lake Schools in Orchard Lake -- a Polonian jewel nestled on a leafy lakeside campus

Thanks a lot! I'm leaving in 2 weeks 1 day.

I'm going to try to see/do/eat as many of these as i can.

I forgot to mention Our Lady of Częstochowa Parish in Sterling Hts which is more of a cultural centre than just a church. It serves Polish speakers from the whole Detroit Metropolitan Area, provides meeting venues for Polonian organisaitons, rents out banquet facilities, and and there are usually plenty of nice-looking young girls at the Sunday masses. After mass a brunch (bigos, flaczki, potato pancakes, home-made coffee cakes, etc.) are served at the cafeteria.

Did Pyza move? They were on Van Dyke close to where I live But they closed a few months ago.

MASS SCHEDULE
Saturday - 9:00am, 4:00pm
Sunday - 8:00am, 9:30am, 11:15am (children's mass), 1:00pm, 7:00pm (youth mass)
