Where you do not have to speak Polish to attend?
I do not speak much Polish but maybe this will help me learn more.

I have heard of St Ferdinand's Polish Catholic High School in Chicago, but I presume all the instruction is in Polish. Check into it, however, to make sure.

Do you mean Polish school that meets on Saturdays for three hours at a time? My kids attend a school in the suburbs and will continue until age 17 (hopefully!).

There are more schools located in the Chicagoland area.

There are none, why would there be? Even the schools in the Hispanic neighborhoods are taught in English.......This is America remember??

Everyone of my friends that were forced to go to these schools by thier parents said it sucked really bad.
They had to go every Saturday...lol

Wright College and Shaumburg H.S. offers a Polish language course the last time I checked.

You mean polish school for learning the language? Or a high school dedicated to a certain ethnicity group? I believe those don't exist anywhere in the US.

hahaha ok first of all there are alot of highschools in Chicago for the Polish community where the lessons are taught in Polish. I am talking about the city not suburbs. I have found quite a few, but you must know Polish to go because they speak Polish during school. I am asking if their are any schools like this where it isn't mandatory to be able to speak it. So yes there are many in Chicago city!!!

My kids' school offers bilingual classes, but I think they are one of the first to offer that option. If you want immersion you would certainly find it at the Saturday schools in and outside of the city. Good luck finding what you are looking for!

You just cant go to any public school you feel like unless you move into that district.
And as for these public schools that speak all Polish , you are full of $hit:)

There are some private schools, like the other members said they are only part time.

Can you post a few? I know of Polish schools where they teach in Polish and teach the actual languages mostly to Polish people and exist as a replacement to pre-school or elementary school, however, these schools don't compensate high schools. High schools can teach certain foreign languages and they can also teach courses bilingually.
