My income wasnt enough to be his sponsor and now my polish husband is having a hard time finding a sponsor. it seems like every person he asks falls thru for one reason or another. does anyone have any suggestions. his 90 days is up in 2 weeks. so we are really getting down to the wire on finding someone. also what happens if he doesnt get a sponsor. do they deport him? can we appeal? he has a lawyer but he doesnt seem to be really helpful. oh and he has asked just about everyone he knows.

How did he get here? Did he come on a fiance visa or on a tourist visa? That's true, you have to have a certain amount of income to be a sponsor in case something happens to him, you have to be responsible for him and show that you can support him instead of the government. But doesn't he work? Does he have a social security card? Can he work? Why two weeks? Is that when his visa ends?
Need more details

at this point you better find a better lawyer. time is pressing. he becomes ILLEGAL in 2 weeks and that complicates things tremendously. if nothing moves along here, it may be best for you guys to leave USA. right now it's not the time to screw around with HSA.

put all the money/belongings in your name or move it out of the USA, NOW.

If your husband would be stopped by police in Phoenix, AZ (Maricopa County) he could be deported. I hope you do not live in Maricopa County.
A lot of Mexicans have left Maricopa County and moved to other
counties in AZ or to other states maybe even to your town.
I live in AZ and that's why I know what's going on here.

Why don't you try asking your church for some help.

I had the same problem that my income as a teacher in the US (and my husband's income from Poland) was not enough so my parents co-sponsored my husband. Another friend of ours in the US was co-sponsored by his employer. If no family members can help out (it just requires them filling out the form and providing the tax papers as proof) then maybe your church as suggested above is the way to go.
Good luck,
Chris
