He'll qualify for English public school, or bilingual if you are lucky to find such a school in your area. English public schools have higher ratings than French ones.

I live off Island, for much lower municipal taxes :) I would leave Quebec but my husband likes it here, he loves hunting and it's paradise for him. I mostly don't like taxes which are the highest on North American continent.

And one more thing: if you don't know French - don't bother coming. You can take the course but on your own dime. Without French you can't even get the factory job. Not to mention something better.

sale tax is 6% federal plus 7.5% provincial.

Federal (GST) is 5%.

The only thing that matters is whether the child's ethnic background is that of an English speaking country. If it's not the child has to go to a French language school. No ifs, ands or buts.

Your husband needs to take a trip to Ontario. Still more than plenty of animals to kill around here ;)

You are absolutely right. I really should know better!

Believe me: he knows. There is only problem with getting access to the ground to hunt on.
He has plenty here.

I live in the two city's, Montreal and toronto

Winter is less an issue, take care of it.

My advice, if you ready to learn French, won't be hard (you already know 2 langages) it will be easy for you, send your Kids to french school, they won't die.

Otherwise, consider Vancouver
