USA Embassy Krakow visa appointment phone is ALWAYS busy

My girlfriend is trying to call the VISA appointment phone number over and over but only receives a busy signal or it rings and rings with no answer. Has anybody else had this problem?!?!

Did you call six times or only five? ;) ;)

That happens, keep trying. Patience is a virtue :)

I don't know if it makes much of a difference but the 'General Consulate of the United States' is in Krakow and the United States embassy is in Warsaw.

Also be aware of the time difference.

And where are the phones being answered? Mumbai? Seriously, we have been trying over and over for days! Nada! Has anyone had similar, better or worse experiences?

Thats because the State department is in transition to outsource all calls to Bombay;)

As many have stated on PF already: no American visas for Poles. There's no one to answer your call, I'm afraid ... ;)
