Hi all, myself and my Polish fiance are looking to head to Poland within the next few months.! I can't wait!

We are looking to buy in Gdansk or anywhere in Tri City areas.

Can someone tell me the best up and coming areas close to the city?

Really looking for a large House with good sized plot, pref primary market but not essential.

Have up to £110,000 cash to spend.

All help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

if you know tri city then take ul. spacerowa out from oliva, and osowa is just on the other side of the ring road - about 2O mins to Sopot and 15 to the airport

Yeah i'm with you, thanks.

How long have you been in Poland?

I run a recruitment agency with my Polish girlfriend here in England and watch thousands of poles come over everyday! So i thought, hold on a minute, what about the opportuniy in Poland and the potential there. Going to run my business from home in Poland, and Ania my fiance is looking for a job in accountancy.

She has been living here for 10years! Time to return for her and a new era for me!

Where can i check out properties on the web pls?

H

i renovate property in and around the tri city... among other things... which takes me back and forth every few weeks

ive posted loads of site on the forum previously - a quick search will find them but this is not a bad one to start off with

.partnerzy.gda.pl

i find all of my properties in annonse... the nieruchomosci issue comes out on wednesday... where there are up-to-date and non agent sales listed

bubba do you have any places up there that can be rented out per night? I was thinking about visiting Gdansk soon, getting a bit bored with Torun

Thanks Bubba.

Site looks pretty good.

Be good if i could grab a copy of the property issue, will have to see if someone can send it to me.

Have you done many large renovations, or just quick turnaround flats/apartments?

most of them are quick turn arounds - i have a larger project that i have decided to sit on for a while and put to other use

if you are interested in a larger renovation project there is something il ooked at in osowa that you might be interested in - lake side property - but it will involve work

Sounds interesting Bubba. We would be interested in a renovation for our own home aswell as to make a few quid.

Whats the size? Cost plus investment to get it up to scratch?

Description?

Thanks

ive been round to look at it a number of times - awsome investment opportunity any way you look at it but it is a lot of work... more than i would want to take on on my own... its a longer term project for sure... its the closest lake to the tri city... close to the airport, in osowa which is one of the areas undergoing upmarket development, close to the airport, easy commuting distance blah blah blah... so tempting... there was a single property next door to it in much better condition the i had an offer accepted on but couldnt get to the notary fast enough and someone else snapped it up... oh well...live and learn...!!

if it was closer to me i'd be intersted in it with you bubba, would be a great investment long term, but to far from where i am, so now i'm looking at bringing a few old london cabs in for some fun and maybe a bit of work on the side.

Shame about that Bubba, gotta be quick in this game hey!

Do you think a fish and chip shop would work down by the coast?

would have thought so... fast food is a little lacking but in demand... and you would probably have investment offers once it looks like a viable proposition

...london cabs is a good idea david...

Indeed, I would be embarrased to show my English face in the centre of my town if there were lots of English stag parties going on in these parts. Almost, almost makes me hope we dont qualify for Euro 2012
