Wilanów Investments announces three new projects
14th December 2009
The Nowy Wilanów multi-phase residential project in Warsaw’s Wilanów district will see three new developments start construction in the next two years. Wilanów Investments, a special purpose company established in 2004 by developer PKO BP Inwestycje with the aim of realizing the project, made the announcement last week, saying the improving market now justifies new investments.
“[Buyers’] interest is growing, mortgage accessibility is improving, prices are not falling any more, so starting new projects makes sense,” said Jerzy Szwarc, representative of the board at Wilanów Investments.
In March next year Wilanów Investments will launch construction on Villa Siena, a complex of two buildings located on Wilanów’s ul. Branickiego, opposite the under-construction Villa Bianca phase. That scheme will provide 170 units. In that same month, construction will get underway on the Villa Verde development, located at the intersection of ul. Branickiego and Al. Rzeczpospolitej, which will comprise 77 apartments.
The third planned scheme, called Royal Park, will comprise 150 units. It will be located close to a planned Wilanów district hall building. Wilanów Investments plans to launch construction on Royal Park in spring 2011 at the earliest, hoping that by that time the issue of the unfinished district hall structure will have been resolved.
From Warsaw Business Journal I bow to your superior knowledge, perhaps you should write to this company and warn them that they are making a huge mistake as there will obviously be no demand for these properties. They are clearly wrong to attemp a project such as in the present climate and ought to have done their homework first. Perhaps you should advise them by suggesting that they wait until the other 3,000.000. apartments/homes are sold which already lie empty and waiting for buyers.
