Harry: That you even have to ask what my problem is with somebody who f*cks pre-pubescent girls speaks volumes about what kind of person you are. Because its a matter of about 1500 years back. Read some Roman history. And Romans were the most civilized of the world. Arabs were the most uncivilized, and reknowned for their infighting and most perverse tribes. As a matter of fact, I have read enough to cast doubts whether Mohammed really did have sex with her. Still, if I give you that ... he did much more than just that. And those were good things. my girlfriend is polish and she is now reading into islam and loves it,her family is totally against our relationship and shes told them all to fk off,now she doesnt talk to any of them.** I'm not surprised they are against it, if it separates her from her family!

I can put many intriguing questions and I already gave a clue that Hadith is not exactly reliable in Islam. The islamic holy book came at a time when barbarians roamed the plains... you need to go through some history before saying something... its not possible in a forum to enlighten someone. Plus ... specially when that someone does not want to accept anything except her own agenda of being ANTI anything other than her own race. landora: I'm not surprised they are against it, if it separates her from her family! Why should it? There are such couples available in Poland ... it didnt affect them in that manner! Why must a person listen to only negativities? OK, then what of the trend in America towards pre-teen 'modelling'? People will find a way to mask sth by packaging it as sth else. Art is often used in this way. He was just more direct, perhaps given the norms at the time being more permissive. I don't take the anti-western line per se, Harry. I just don't like hypocrisy. I don't seek to defend what he did but I'm not going to jump in with a barrage of judgemental comments based on the prevailing mores of our time. I am a critic of many Islamic fundamentalists too for shouting Allahu Akbar before nobbling a poor guy. Jesus would never have approved of such a thing.

It is disturbing, yes. However, you see the sneaky justifications that people now attempt after all this time!? The morality of the situation remains the same for me, the compelling logic is against doing what he did. However, social attitudes change. If you haven't noticed, the more religious a muslim is, the more he knows about his religion, the more he prays and the more he reads his quran, the more extremist he becomes. The peaceful muslims you know don't really know what islam is. See muslims whose mother language isn't Arabic...they won't understand the quran 100%...therefore they stay cool. Call me radical. I don't care about a liberal's opinion.

put short: it may matter to her family if she is about to change her religion. You may be a nice guy and maybe she thinks, her family will realize it once they meet you. But if my daughter was about to merry a muslim man and he would insist her to become a muslima I would have a long talk with my daughter and question his love for her. I would not "give my blessing" to such a marriage, and 50-50 your potential father in law will neither. If you really love her, the best sollution for you, in a world where many men enforce Islam on their before nonislamic women, would be to become a catholic and get baptized first and then go to Poland.
