when to give gift to my date? (the saga continues)

today we have a "date" well dinner actually! at my place! I was looking around some of the other threads on "what gift" to buy etc etc some said flowers, others said chocolates etc (the usual stuff)

well i decided on something else!! but incorporating the polish colours as was previously suggested (for flowers)

my question is this!!

when do i give it to her ladies??? i go to meet her before we come back to my place!! should i give her the gift (its wrapped (ish)) when i go to meet her or should i wait till we are back home?

will she feel embarrassed? i hate receiving gifts and opening them in front of people!!

any suggestions????

Where are you meeting her?
If it is at her place, then I recommend giving it to her there and then, then when she looks at them she'll think of you (I hope they don't get old and die too quickly:)

But if it's in town and a hassle to carry around for her, I would wait until you get to your place.

cheers man!! its in town (ish) actually 2 min from my house in the sports center!! then we'll walk back to mine!!
