Last Minute Christmas Gift for a Polish guy?

So I was just introduced to this guy who I'm into, he's Polish lol so I found this site. I'd like to do the relationship thing right this time, and I know that every man is different, it I still relevant to understand a persons background and culture.
Any who, I've really only begun this adventure, but I think it would be terribly improper of me not to get him an Xmas gift. He works with his father doing landscaping, (recently plowing our 23 inches of snow), so I was thinking a scarf or something? He seemed improperly dressed so a nice scarf would be a simple gift for something so fresh.
He partially runs a bar, so I was thinking of buying him some beer from Poland, but doing more research I realized that he has Polish beers at his bar. Sooo! That just won't work lol.
I need help!
Thx!

scarf will be ok but at this stage he might not be expecting a gift, and possibly didn't think of getting you anything. do whatever feels right, you know him.
