Hey czesc I'm getting married this August. Are you catholic or protestant! if you are both different religions you need to get a priest with a special license. Paper work also costs a lot for birth cert and christening cert etc to be translated and you need someone with an official stamp, not a mate from work. Also there are papers at the British Embassy that you have to fill in in Warsaw, and it will cost a lot again because they put your name on a list to check that your not already married. This takes a few weeks. You also need to get a copy of your birth/christening cert, with a new date, like a stamp from the church etc, but this is only valid for a few months (6 months birth, 3 months christening) you basically have to get married within that period of receiving the new copy or it becomes null and void. Most churches will have a pre wedding course which is split into 10 weekly sessions that you have to attend! Have fun and good luck, asha is busy, but very understanding, thats why I'm marrying her! powodzenia!
