I heard that Polish women are mostly against this and they dont allow men to come easily closer to them and even if they do they dont feel very good about it. is it true?. as far as i have understood this i am guessing that most women feel bad about premarital sex and they want to have it only after marriage. That can be a cultural or religious effect both what do you think? i have heard relationships like upto 3 years without sex in Poland also. I know this is against my previous post but this is also a fact about Poland.

What's that Morrissey song where he talks of an inbuilt guilt catching up with you, coming round and then slapping your face? It just struck me as appropriate to describe some women here. They will have sex with you but their conscience will gnaw away at them later. Of the Polish girls I know about 75% had sex with their boyfriend before marriage, and 25% waited until getting married. It seems that the majority of Polish girls think it's natural to have sex if you have a stable relationship. The ones who don't have sex before marriage are almost only for religious reasons. In my opinion there is not a culture among young Poles in general that you should wait until marriage. If we go to a country we must respect its culture.

If you notice pregnant polish women during their wedding it is because they were against premarital sex.

SwedishPole is right. Stability is a word that should never be underestimated here. They don't want to sleep around, generally, and I applaud that.

Most young Poles today seem to have a rather natural relationship to sex. Not as many 'one night stands' as in Western Europe. But the majority don't mind having sex with their partner (bf/gf) before marriage. It's a good balance I think.

Some like premarital sex and others don't. If one is a devout Catholic, then in all likelihood they won't have premarital sex. Young people all over the world are not in the habit of denying their various instincts and impulses, though. A better question is, 'Is the so-called rat race driving people towards sex or away from sex?'. In Japan, salarymen are like moths to a lightbulb. They can't wait for their post zangyou (overtime) release in Soapland :) In Poland, a bit of both. Ah well, thank the Lord that he gave me a faithful bent :)

Statistics about sex shown wrong. At least 10-15% of world women, even if they are married, are not doing sex. They can't. You probably know what women they are. They don't talk anywhere. I guess this percentage is same in Poland. So, 85% of women in poland can do sex. Guess another 10% for lez and different sexual orientations. Remained 75%. If, as claimed above, 25% of them prefer to stay virgin, then, remained 50%. If half of them are already married, then, remained 25%. If 80% of them already have bf, then, remained 5%. So, romeo, if there are 100 girls here, only 5 of them are open to love for premarital sex.

Statistics about sex????? Should such a thing even exist, given the propensity of many to distort them and lie? It's like the Tories. Polls showed them to be unpopular but come election time they won a landslide victory back in the day. Use common sense, not stats!

I was going out with my boyfriend for 7 years and never had sex, until I married. Every person is different and a marriage shouldn't be based on a used rag, but something new and wonderful. It's a personal moral belief, no matter where you live.
