I agree with Frank.Sex drive in both sexes is related to testosterone levels and women have much less.Body builders who take androgens experience an increase in libido,males who take female hormones,estrogens experience decrease in libido and women who take androgens have also increased sexual desire.It is a pity lesbians have the highest levels of androgens among women,that is they have more desire than ordinary women. When a man takes estrogens he loses his interest in sex,he becomes calm,peaceful and not aggressive.

Daffy,women have only 0.3 mg/dl testosterone,men have 20-40 mg/dl.The difference is huge.Most testosterone is produced in the testes. Testosterone has to do with sexual desire,not estrogen.That is why if sb has reduced libido testosterone is the treatment of choice. Sexual desire is enhanced in men,this is scientific fact.

But that doesn't mean women don't have an interest unless they are in a relationship like you mentioned. For women it's a biological need that exists always. (maybe some women don't have that need, but most healthy women do)

Im saying it and so are MANY here :) Women can be absolute DEMONS in the sack! and its not as low a figure as you guesstimate. statistics, spot, made up on. Its down to your experiences im sure, as i am stating my own - but what your failing to do, is listen to the actual WOMEN here who are telling us all about it! I've known some pretty sexually motivated chicks! In general F we both know men are numerous but there can be no denying that women are too (maybe not as numerous as made aware) but then, women are a far more tactful then men.
