should I go to Poland with him?

My boy friend wants us to go to Poland for a month this summer. I want to go with him....see all that has made him the man I love. Here is the issue, he "was" in a Polish gang, and came to the states to start a new life. I am worried,since he does not talk about it....and I am lucky I found out he was invloved in a gang, Can any one tell me what I might have to worry about? I have searched for information about Polih gangs, and found only a few videos. I have a feeling he is going to "Pop the question" while we are there .Thank you.

any chances he made up a story about being a gang member? You know, just to make himself more interesting? Where does he come from, in Poland?

When he moved here he came from Gydina....but he lived in Warsaw. I realy doubt he made this up to be more interesting..... he did boxing over there as well. I mean seriously this man has battle scars all over him. He is verry modest person and does not brag about things. He also has tattos I have yet to find on-line, to find the meanning. He is big teaddy bear....but has seen a darker side.

dont be silly and dont worry for nothing , the only bad thing that could happen is that somebody will drug you and you will wake up without of a few organs , not much

If I were you, I would not go to Poland, because he might have history of troubles. Let him go alone, you should stay home and find somethings to do. My uncle is Polish & Russian and he was taken to Serberian, Russian and he ran away from Russian to Poland. Later on he ran away to Canada from Poland. Then he left Canada and come to U.S.A. His sister have been looking for him for 30 years and found him living in Chicago, IL. She is living in near St. Petersburg. Finally he decided to go back to Russian and make plan with Russian & American Counnsel to make sure he will come back home. Russian Counsel told my Uncle not to go to Moscow for security reason. So he went and stay away from Moscow and make peace with Russian Security. He was not allow to call home and he came home safety. We were scare and didn't know if he is coming home but he did. Anyway, we all went to O'Hare Aiport to wait for him and were happy Russian treated him very well. Russians people are very good people.

Don't you think that if he was in a gang and got away, he may be in danger if you advertise a lot of information abut himself and yourself on here ? Just a thought ! This forum is viewed across the whole web. Wow, I am glad to hear your story had a good ending. I dont beleive he ran from any thing.....I think he just wnted to start fresh. His Mother left his Father and came to America, she left him behind. ( I wonder wgat kind of person she is, but he has told me he is the "black sheep" of the family in his mothers eyes,still I could not leave a child behind) BTW, I have not met this woman yet. He says he wants me to see his country, we have viewed pictures of the harbor and it is beautiful!!! I hope to some day go, as I pln to take him to my parents countries too.

Was he in a real gang, like mafia, u know suit, benz, money from racetiering, prostitution etc. or was he one of them idiots on the corner sellin' weed, u know them fake thugs??

1) If he's actually part of a gang, most likely he was just a run of the mill 'hool.' There is a team in Polish soccer league, Arka Gdynia, which has pretty big support. He might have had some small dealings with them. Nothing at all to get excited about.. I had some crazy years when I was young too. 2) If he actually was part of a very serious gang, chances are he wouldn't have been able to escape back to the U.S so easily. These gangs are very secretive, and once you are in, you are in forever. Unless you are killed, put in jail, rehabilitated, or simply too old for crime. 3) If this gang was actually that 'serious' to begin with, and he managed to escape, he wouldn't be so stupid as to go back. 4) He is lying to you, and using this supposedly 'bad past' to cover up for his deficencies. Or simply, because he knows your strange past, he is trying to make you worry about him for a chance.
