How do you dump a girl and go out with her best mate?

If he's not liking the girl he's going out with he should dump her and stop stringing her along. If the girl's Best Friend really is that, she's not going to like the guy anyway so he's never going to get her (unless she is not a true friend). He should end a relationship he doesn't want and move on.

I have a "friend" who is going out with a girl but thinks her friend is really for him, if you know what I mean post some ideas on how this eternal paradox can and will be solved.

Strangely this has happened in reverse with my sister. She was seeing a guy, but there was an attraction to his best friend. She never did anything about it. The guy she was seeing dumped her. Now, a few months down the line, his best friend has got in touch with her and asked her if she'd like to go out for a few drinks and explained his feelings, she said she had feelings for him. They'll date this weekend. He had to bide his time. It's not always easy. It's taken a year and a half for this date to come to fruition, but it can happen! :)

does the girlfriends mate have bigger boobs? seriously tho, your 'friend' is a twat and if he tries it on with the best mate right after dumping his gf he will most likely fail. it will just make things awkward, and how do you know the best mate likes your 'friend' back?

Yeah ;) I'm pointing out, he may fancy the Best Friend like crazy but he's not going to get her unless she is a not a true Best Friend. When a guy dumps a girl her friends rally round her and in their minds the guy is "insert numerous amounts of cursing" so the Best Friend is not going to go for the guy unless she is not a true Best Friend. I'm not denying, it could happen that the Best Friend goes with the guy but he shouldn't think this will happen just because he dumps the girl and makes an advance on the Best Friend. She is likely to refuse him. It's not negative, it's fact. :)

His best plan is to wait out the initial dumping period (that's weeks) and then maybe get in touch with the Best Friend (if he has her number etc) but I not saying this is a good plan of action at all. IF it is going to happen it won't be the day, the week, the month or even the year after. :)

Hmmm. Im very reluctant. Simply bc i think its a pretty mean thing to do. Unless his original relationship is over. Or close to. Bc His ex may turn to her best mate for support after he dumps her. It will make it hard for the friend. But. He mb wise to get her alone. Make sure he gets her Number. And spawn something like......... " This is gonna be hard for both of us.
