Do you prefer younger or older partners??

Just started this to avoid trashing other thread.. imo theres a case for both, depending on what you are looking for at the time.

i age is not the concern for me really its the person themselves, somebody said on the other forum and i have said before its a person that is mature or immature and that does not mean they are young or old.

Everybody is going to vote older, with respect you are mostly all older, i don't mean your old old i mean older than me, so the definition of young and old are different from me to the rest of you i'm guessing :)

My current vote is for younger.

When I was younger, all the girls seemed to prefer older men.
Surely it's now my turn!

(You can substitute the words man for donkey, girl for jennie)

Either aslong as we've got something good, I usually date girls my own age or maybe 1 or 2 years younger but I'd never say no to a girl afew years older. I had a 24 year old fancy me at my old work place last year but never knew. If she told me age wouldnt have even crossed my mind :)

well they do say youth is wasted on the young.. you never know what you've got til its too late... however, life is also too short for regrets.

I am constantly told that I look 10-15 younger than I am, so I guess thats a good thing if I wanted to pull younger guys. just wait til I clear out my attic and auction that old painting though, it will all be downhill from there.

I once went out with a woman 15 years older than me. She was cool! Similar to osiol, I've never dated a woman more than two years younger. But it's impossible to generalise about age -- everything depends on the individual person.

My boyfriend is 2 years younger than me. But its not something I planned... neither is it one of my criteria in choosing a partner.

But for the sake of discussion, I always wanted an older BF. Coz I want to be childish and carefree in our relationship, and have the excuse to get away with it :p

My friend is getting married next month to a guy 8 years younger, and they're happy.Demi Moore married Ashton who is way younger and they're doing OK. I had a botfriend who was 6 months younger and we had a great time together.
As long as your happy age doesn't matter.

thats nice. Hope they will be happy.. Demi has had a bit of surgical assistance though hasnt she! I was being flippant earlier, but true love knows no age limits... now wheres that zimmer frame gone again..I cant remember anything these days, must be dementia setting in.

My BF whose younger than me thinks more maturely. I'm even surprised at how well he can plan for us. And his famous line when I get jealous is always... "I am stable emotionally". More like he is saying I'm not xD

Depends on the person....I have dated guys as much as 11 years older & 12 years younger during different stages in my life.....I don't go out seeking anyone by there age....if we get along and there's an attraction, I will date them. Fortunately, I don't have to play the dating game at present.....someone already has my attention and I have no desire to direct it towards anybody else :)
