Hiya. I know Easter is a big thing in Poland and I want to buy my bf a present.. is there anything that is traditionally given to loved ones at Easter in Polish culture?

I don't think so. Presents on Easter are generally not that important.

It's neat to give presents on any little occassion.
But like Grzegorz said, it's not really a tradition in Poland to do so, but there are no rules against it either. Get a big egg and put something neat inside.

Inside the egg live the philosophy of life.

What to do if you are invited over for 'Polish Easter' with his family?

Ok so what do you do if you are invited over a Polish boyfriends parents place for Easter if you want to make an impression on the family?

I was thinking either bring a bottle of wine, bake something, bring chocolate easter eggs I have no idea?!

Make sure you bring some gifts for the kids (if there are any) nothing big... "eggs" filled with candy will do. You are on the right track, a bouquet of spring flowers or a box of chocolates... as long as you're not empty handed, the wine is fine too.

We show some good manners: We don`t pick our teeth or ears with our fingers, don`t belch, don`t use the tablecloth to clean our hands and mouth, don`t eat too noisily, don`t tell dirty jokes and a few others.

I'm sure I will receive a few Polish frowns if I don't supply something egg-shaped and preferably made out of chocolate. I might just tell them that it's the local custom of where I'm from to give quails' eggs at Easter. Then again, because quails don't drop real chocolate out of their cloacas, I might just think about that idea, but find some actual chocolate to give instead.
