Hollywood career - Polish style...?

Alicja Bachleda-Curuś went to Hollywood to pursue her career... She met Colin Farrell in January 2009 and she's pregnant already... Is that a career Polish style...? ;)

To be honest it looks like she was just some sort of 'Miss Polonia' or something who made the most of of being good looking by going to hollywood and sleeping witht he biggest star who would have her/she could find. She isn't the sort of girl you'de kick out of bed if you got home and found her warming the sheets but the question is, can the girl act?? probably not!!! Polish style, i would say a big fat 'YES' making the best of the situation/talents you have to the best advantage you can.

Alicja is a well-known actress, daughter of a scientistst who is the best Polish geologist and represents POland abroad in many scientific and government organizations. Alicja was a child when she started taking singing and acting classes. She is thoroughly educated. She has released records, she has won many awards. Her pretty face is just a bonus to her personality. Do not underestimate her. She would do well with or without COlin because she has the right foundations for a career.

Anyway, your comments show a total contempt for Poland and the Polish people. You judge Poland based on stereotypes and contacts with the uneducated immigrants who come to English speaking countries because they didn't make it in Poland. I wonder how other nationalities would come out of the Second World War, its massive executions of elites and concentration camps..... would they do better than my nation nowadays if they were to go through the same experiences? would you criticise a German actress in a similar way? No. But maybe her great-grandparents once added fuel to cremators in concentration camps. never mind. This is history, right. Your comments also reveal a typical mechanism of the psyche, which is basically to make yourself feel better about who you are by blocking certain truths and allowing stereotypes to rule your thinking processes. I saw it many times in the USA, watching street beggars who carried American flags and boasted about being American. I am a Pole and at least I am not as brainwashed as lots of you are. Dear superhumans, make an effort and see the colour of the grass on the other side of the fence, because it might actually be greener sometimes. After having read comments on Alicja I am glad I do not belong to this forum.

I heard Doda not long ago came to America to take the country by storm and throw the USA on its knees, but so far little of this has been heard. Anyone know what happened? Is she back in Poland?

Time means: Never show your opponents that they managed to throw you off your balance because this is exactly the point at which you lose. Words hurt, don't they? Sorry, I only wanted to give you a feeling similar to the one Alicja has when reading innocent internet gossip. As for my bowel movement, couldn't be better, but thanks for showing concern :)))
