It depends on how old was the child that painted it.

Hey :)

These two pictures have the name "Yerka" with them. Can anyone tell me if this is a Polish artist or not? The two descriptions are the titles that are with the pictures. I like this style of art so I was looking for more about the artist.

Thanks PD :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_and_the_Wolf_(film)

Peter & the Wolf (Polish: Piotru¶ i wilk, also known as Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf) is a short BAFTA nominated and Oscar-winning Polish-British-Norwegian model animation film released in 2006. It was written and directed by Suzie Templeton, made in Se-ma-for Studios in ŁódĽ, and has been shown both in cinemas and with live musical accompaniment.

Peter and The Wolf was a multinational production. The main producers were UK production company Breakthru Films, and the co-producers were Se-ma-for Studios in ŁódĽ, Poland and Storm Studio, based in Oslo, Norway. Additionally TV UNAM (XHUNAM-TV Mexico) and ArchAngel SA (Czech Republic) participated in it's production[1]. All of the puppet animation was completed in ŁódĽ with a mainly Polish crew. Special effect shots were made at Storm Studio in Oslo.

Peter and the Wolf has won several awards, including the Academy Award (the 'Oscar') in 2008 for best Short Film (Animated),

There used to be another painting of the pope but it got painted over.
I doubt if this one will get painted over because as you can see from the photo, people are leaving flowers in front of it, showing they truly love it. (but they have changed many times, so I don't know).

This is quite a long wall, out side a school.
The story goes that kids were spray painting on it, so the head mistress of the school designated the wall to the art form. (pretty cool of her)

A lot of the work is just very well spray painted tags but i thought for the general public on here these pictures might be more appreciated.

I agree, talented young fellas.
Nothing like, up the top, down the back of the number 76 A, crudely carved in to the back of the bus seat "Deco waz ere" or "Sharons (heart) Shano" ha ha ha
