who loved dancing polish dance when you were little !!??!? (and still at it :D)

not to mention polish school
and all those 10lb costumes with beads and ribbons.......(:

Are you referring the Danse Polonaise, from which the term Polonaise evolved? That was French name of the traditonal Polish ballroom dance, the Chodzony (processional dance), or did you mean Polish dances in general (oberek, kujawiak, sztajer, etc.)?
Except for professional and semi-professional groups that mainly entertain visiting Polonians or tour émigré communities abroad, I have not seen much interest in traditional Polish dances in today's Poland. Seems the copy-cat Poles prefer the rhytymic grunts and shouts of American slum-dwellers (rap crap) and the like to their own heritage.
