I was thinking "Flow." Any suggestions of Polish names? It is a girl.

I named my little girl Eva, and rather that pronounce it in the typically English way of Eeva, it is pronounced 'E'va, I also like the name Ranya, which I think is short for Renatta

Not very original there, judging from the OP's suggestion of Flow id say hes looking for something quite rare.

I almost called my daughter Scarlett. My wife liked Kazsiena, not sure of the actual polish spelling.

Let's just hope she inherited all of her mother's genes then.

What does the mother of the child want to name her? She gave birth to her and was with her all this time, the decission of naming her should go to her.

I also don't like when people name their children after their dead relatives. Why? This is a fresh, new person not gramma or aunt or someone else in the family that died.

Honey, don't you think that if a guy and a girl truly love eachother, and really have a sense of respect for eachother, that the two of them should be happy to explore all possible options together, and agree to a name they both think is beautiful?

:)

Me neither, I think it's creepy. (See? We agree sometimes!)

Its a sign of respect and a tradition, one which my family keeps up where the males are concerened, first male born named after their father. I was named after my dead grandma, nothing weird, its respectful.

Don't take this creep serious. He's just a confused kid and he definitely has no daughter. If in doubt, please see:

Don't do Flow! It's a euphimism for woman's period.
In the old Polish tradition, pick a name that has a patron saint. I'm not that religious, but that's kinda quaint. On the day of her birth check out the Polish calendar to see if the name of a female patron saint for that day is not totally hideous. You might be in luck.

My wife and I chose names that are not connected to saints... it saves us a fortune in gifts.

Flo is a valid name. Florence

How about Beastazia? Retardra? Mentalia? Fromeundakoch?

Pelagia is pretty I think.
