She's ethnically Polish. Both of her parents are native Poles. She was only born in Denmark. That makes her a Polish-Dane, or a Dane with Polish roots.

This is similar to the phrases, Italian-American, Polish-American, Jewish-American, etc.

I know, i know, with such a name.. ;)
If her name was Vøsnjaksen... But yeah, Wozniacki is Polish. And her whole family are sportsmen and women. Her mum used to play volleyball, and i think her dad and bro play football.

What about her (or her father's) thoroughly despicable decision to retire from a match leading a set and 5-0? A decision taken whilst 3-0 up, and against WTA rules I hasten to add. Was that the Danish in her?

A more cynical person might suggest that the cramps she got last night were more to do with Betfair market price movements than anything else!
