F1 Game 2009

a friend for this forum asked me to run this game because he does not have time to do it himself . i hope i dont let him down . OK so we have a football game up and running and I thought we could add a F1 game, which will start on Fri 27th March 2009* Entry's must be made 24hrs before the first practice otherwise they will be declared void; this has to be strict because there will be a lot of work in this to do. F1 Game 2009 Okay the idea of the game is predict the result of a three driver combination over three days so this will include points for: P1 result * P2 result * Qualifying * Race day result * Movement in Race * Fastest Lap Practice 1 and 2 points will be awarded to the top eight finishers for each both parts. Example: Massa comes first in P1 = 10 points.... Massa comes third in P2 = 6 points: total points scored over P1 & P2 = 16 points See below: DRIVERS: PRACTICE FINISH Winner: 10 points Second: 8 points Third: 6 points Fourth: 5 points Fifth: 4 points Sixth: 3 points Seventh: 2 points Eighth: 1 point ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Qualifying points will be allocated for only the top eight drivers. Example: Massa comes first = plus an extra point as he qualified in second place top 10 finishers only *must be a classified finisher Massa's total: P1 & P2 = 16 points qualifying = 8 points Race Day = 6 points Total: = 30 points ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Extra points will be given for the fastest race lap as well: 5 points ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Rules You will pick three drivers but two MUST NOT be from the same team: one driver from the top five [i.e from positions 1~5] * one driver from the next five [i.e. from positions 6~10] * and one from the bottom five [i.e. from positions 16~20] (therefore you do not pick any drivers from positions 11~15) Please, I would like people to look at this carefully and see if I have screwed up anywhere and maybe you have better suggestions all are welcome. Hey, you chose your drivers after the start of the season? And what about this? Hamilton, raikonnen, alonso. All top 5 Raikonnen, Hamilton, Kubica...All top 5 KImi , alonso ,kubica.. All top 5 * one driver from the top five [i.e from positions 1~5] * one driver from the next five [i.e. from positions 6~10] * and one from the bottom five [i.e. from positions 16~20] Espana, you don't even understand your own rules..

Another point PRACTICE FINISH Winner: 10 points You cannot give points for 'winning' practice as its not a race - its testing. And certainly not at the same rate as the race. Qualifying is really much valid either. The race its self should be worth more points than everything else combined. As it stands the WDC could win every race and end up nowhere in this competition.

ranking of the game 1 race 1-espana 10 point 2-peterweg 0 point ( illegal post) disqualify :( 3- Filios1 0 point (disqualify) 4-Wroclaw Boy , 0 point (disqualify) i do the Rules like the fia do!!!!!

Hahahahaha. PeterWeg. Qualifying 10+8 Race 10+6+ 5 (for LH moving up 15places) Total 39 -5 for Vettle blowing it ?? Ignoring practice (as its a joke) Points for moving up from grid position shouldn't be allocated as it gives and advantage to teams whose engine blows or cheat. Plus Kers makes overtaking much easier and that's not skill... Hey, espana. You want to give up this game now?
