Golf the US Masters - Thoughts?

Anyone watching the US Masters this year? Think Tiger might still take it even though he is not long back, he also sounded confident in his interview.

Anyone know any websites that are showing it? I am watching/listening to Amen corner, on the BBC, but would like to see more though. Would be good as decorating all weekend so will have it on in the background.

Don't get me started on golf! It's not even a sport - it's just
a walk spoiled.

If you're not strong enough for boxing, not fast enough for football,
not smart enough for chess and don't have enough reflexes for tennis
then I guess golf is the only thing left for you.

Also, I'd say that the percentage of terrible arseholes among golfers
is significantly higher than in any other group of people.

It should be banned as a game and only allowed as a form of outdoors
recreation for mentally disabled children, not able to do any other kind
of physical activity.

*rant over - I'll get my coat :)*

Hmm interesting view point, walk spoilt yeah sometimes like that. Boxing very boring, not interested in any form of voilence. Football play 5's good laugh but large number of complete idiots, not sure anyone can disagree with this. Chess play online, great game to relax the mind too, tennis well in this country, many middle class Daily Mail reading idiots from what I have seen. Golf great game good excuse to get out in the open air and relax on a Sunday.

mentally disabled children

No need what so ever to bring children into an arguement, especially as you are using it in a negative context.

Thanks for your positive comments......

Torq's Polish he cant possibly understand golf.

I would compare Golf to Snooker in many ways an extremely frustrating game but when your hitting them long and straight, making pars and bogeys i love it.

Ive just realised that BBC news 24 often have a live stream to the Masters, I have a sky box and im getting live coverage awesome. I cant get BBC2 but thats streamed as well through BBC news 24 (push the red button) once it starts in the UK.

The smart money would be on Woods but im not crossing out some English hopefulls and of course all the best for Harrington.

I agree. Speaking as a Scot, the Poles have little clue about it. Harrington is looking good though I'm gonna have to check up.

I can't believe that the BBC have devoted so much TV coverage of the open. Who the hell is watching this? It is like watching paint dry.

Yeah, it's been good. Cabrera is my tip but I haven't kept up with today's progress. I'm off to do that.

Someone must be feeling rather sick that he didn't put a few zloty on this... :P

I was furious last year, I had a gut feeling that Tiger would come 2nd. Of course, he did...but no bloody bookie would give me odds on him finishing there, and an E/W bet hardly seemed worth it. :(

I went to bed at 12:00 thinking Perry's got this in the bag, surprise surprise this morning.

The Woods/Mickelson pairing was a joy to watch Mickelson played the best golf ive ever seen on the front nine.

Well, I tipped him after the second round, delph. Had I tipped him before the tournament and he pulled that off, I might be gutted now.

Poor Mickelson, I wish he had holed those 2 short ones but it would have been all academic anyway. It's good that Katayama got a bigger paycheck. Mickelson is loaded anyway.

It's just about the only game left with any integrity and decent behaviour. Did you see Kenny Perry clapping when Cabrera holed the putt on the first play off hole. You may not enjoy the game but don't stoop to using out of date descriptions of the 1% of undoubted old snobby farts that play golf.
