Who likes Ebi Smolarek? and maybe things he is the Captain of Polish Football?? I dont do you?? you dont need too ;p;p

He was Poland's best player for a while. He is now at Bolton, right? I think he's pretty good.

yes he was is in Bolton Wanderes He Is cool but I like Lewandowski better

Lewandowski is a slaphead. He was the one who gave away that penalty which Howard Webb spotted. It was a very soft penalty when compared to other things going on around the pitch but he was tugging on the guy's shirt and European refs are fooled time and again by sudden falls to the ground. Not only Webb can be accused of that.

He's a decent anchor man but doesn't rise to the big occasion, he prefers to coast along in such games.

It was a blatent penalty. Just because they are not spotted all the time does not make it any less so.

Blatant? I wouldn't say so. The guy went down quite cheaply but it was a clear enough penalty from the eyes of the rulebook. He tugged on the guy's shirt so that's the end of it.

The camera angle doesn't show that it was a stonewall penalty, I've seen some refs wave play on for greater tugs and jostles than that.

Smolarek went missing in the European Cup for Poland. As well he hasn't performed well for Bolton at all and barely plays now as a result. Failing his **** test didn't help matters in the past as well. He seems to have potential but hasn't really lived up to it so far. Apparently his Polish isn't very good either as he grew up in Holland. He may come around, however...

Smolarek is rank- he's scared of anything that moves within 10m of him and only performs for his country. A VERY poor man's David Healy... :D

Jeleń, on the other hand, always impressed me and deserved a lot more chances than he actually got at international level.

Of course, none of this changes the fact that Poland's best player is a Brazilian... :D
