Mikkelsen to return for Rally Poland

Andreas Mikkelsen is to make his return to the World Rally Championship after confirming he will contest Rally Poland at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia WRC.

The 19-year-old, who became the youngest points scorer in the history of the WRC last season, has focused his attention on the Norwegian Subaru Cup and the Group N title fight in the Norwegian National Championship so far this year, but will now return to the top level of the sport in Poland.

“It'll be great to be behind the wheel of a WRC car again,” he said. “I really feel I'm ready now. The last six months of driving in Group N have definitely made me a better driver.”
