See you in Poland in September, if you have the guts to come watch.

This type of veiled threat is totally out of order Filios & in light of what happened at the weekend you should be ashamed of yourself. Nobody like bad losers.

Did you get picked last at school ;)

Actually yes. :) I hated football but I liked kicking a ball around with friends. School sports was Football, Cricket, Rugby and Running. I bloomin hated the lot of them. I went to Karate instead.

I suppose it has become more respectable to be a fan. Do you remember Baddiel and Skinner? they were the thin end of the wedge, although Baddiel sitting on a sofa scratching his parts and going 'come on my son' was as convincing as my granny putting two forks in her hat and pretending to be a reindeer.

Some Poles got a welcome around Belfast, all because of the antics of a pathetic minority (or could have been majority by all accounts)- they started on scarfers and got booted all over the Lisburn Road by casuals AND scarfers

"WELCOME" indeed

Drunken thugs or not, if some of that NI gang comes over to Poland in September thinking to stirr up trouble, I hope they aren't too disappointed when they get their faces kicked in!

Hey hard lad! Poles came to Belfast looking for trouble and attacked a lot of innocent football fans who were unprepared. Next time people will be prepared so don’t get too cocky if people want trouble Belfast’s the place to come but next time you want to start trouble bring a good supply of BB s with you .
The IRA couldn’t defeat the people of Ulster and a pack of Poles who think they are hard certainly wont.

Haha, you guys are getting a hard on over absoulately nothing. I'm saying if any NI fans come to Poland and think they will be able to start shit and get away with it, I just hope they aren't surprised when they get their asses kicked. I would gladly help if the occasion arose. Actually, being a young Pole and growing up in Krakow was an experience of its own, going to the matches. No innocents are ever picked on. If some NI fans come over here to actually cheer their team on, good on them. As long as they do exactly that, cheer on their team. Anything more than that, like acting like punks and throwing up on someones girlfriend, thats worthy of some rough treatment.

Fu%king pathetic. Where did I say that we would target innocent fans?

haha, time for British hools has came and gone. Go back to the 90's man. If you decide to test your luck in September, good on you. Bring some tough lads along, and I hope to see you there, tosser.

Harry, why don't you come along to the match too? You can wave your Israeli flag up in the top row somewhere. You'd be a hit with the crowd.
Maybe you can say the same shit right to my face?

If you think your hard Filios bring some of your mates to Belfast and come to the Shankill road, Sandy Row or the Village. Just go into any bar and say your looking for a good fight. You might even get blocked or your knees done if your lucky. Our fans will not be afraid to come to Poland plenty are going to go. We won in Belfast and we will beat you again in Poland even off the field if you start anything You will think its 1939 again.

I want to say that I disagree with Fillos over the threats to Nordie fans and there should be no place for what we saw on Saturday in Belfast in football. On the other hand some of what we have heard from Northern Ireland fans is really pathetic. I have no doubt that there may have been a minority of Polska fans looking for trouble. Let me remind you all the Northern Ireland fans have been saints themselves down the years. It takes two to tango and Polish fans against Ireland (Republic Of) back in November caused no trouble and were a credit to themselves for the brilliant atmosphere they helped create. First of all Nordie fans jeered Polska national anthem, taunted Boruc for the entire all because he plays for Celtic. I have never been to Windsor but I can remember a qualifier game played against the North back in 1993 and their fans were full of hate that night. Add to that the whole Neil Lennon saga (Celtic player again). We all know down south what some Northern fans are capable of. As for the return fixture most of that away support from Northern Ireland won't want trouble. If on the other hand a whole host of Glasgow Rangers loyalist type fans travel for revenge then I have no doubt there will be trouble.

Filios, you will sidestep that offer if you are wise. Some NI people are really hard nuts to crack and don't suffer fools gladly. Best stay away!

It's truly a sad day when we can see NI supporters as being only Protestants. Yes, they are part of the UK but so are Scottish Celtic supporters.

Filios If your ever going to come to Northern Ireland with your mates its best to come on the 11th of July especially in the evening and you will get a warm welcome in any of those areas.
Northern Ireland play Slovenia tomorrow night and there will be no trouble we make all visiting fans Welcome but if they come looking trouble they are coming to somewhere where people don’t back down. The Polish fans mostly attacked kids and old men and after the game they disappeared like snow on a hot day and its just as well because later that night mobs were on the street with baseball bats and hatchets looking for them. Sadly local Poles have been targeted because of the thugs who started this.

Is that fan appreciation day? Sure, I'd come. I'd bring some of my mates from my younger days. Any one of us would kick the shit out of you in a fair fight.
No hatchets knives or bats.
Funny that you say the Poles targetted kids and old men... Can anyone back this up with evidence? I think thats a load of shit. Your boys were probably pissing themselves about the prospect of fighting with their fists, and had to run home to get their weapons. Cheap cunts.

Cuchulain:
Sadly local Poles

Yeah, targetting women, children and old men, most likely. You're pathetic.

Gentlemen with all due respect there has been a lot of nonsense posted on this thread. I was in Belfast on Saturday for the game and will be in Poland for the away match as I attend all Northern Ireland home/away matches. Firstly may I say I was shocked by saturdays events as I honestly did not envisage anything nasty developing between the fans, we have had an excellent relationship with the Polish fans in the past so why did this change?
In my opinion there were a group of Polish thugs who came to Belfast intent on causing trouble - they were not football fans- just thugs, they attacked people, those people fought back and stories that Polish "fans" were attacking Northern Ireland fans brought our own thug element onto the streets.. note not Northern Ireland fans, not people with tickets going to the match - just wee thugs looking for a fight.

And here we are today with both nations pointing fingers at each other and the Polish community in Northern Ireland trying to pick up the pieces and get on with their lives after a group landed for a weekend and wrecked years of community work.

Can I make a suggestion to Filios1, instead of any of us battering a Northern Irish or Polish face can we not work together to enjoy the match, lets get drunk have some laughs and enjoy the links our two countries have now ?

Believe me we ALL would have a better time.

well done braniac, you do realise that a lot of Poles got kicked all around Belfast and many innocent Poles were then attacked in their homes.

FACT of the matter is I do not hate Poland or the Poles- I do hate the fact that a large minority (possibly majority) of those attending the match were intent on hitting ordinary scarfers- like I say,on the Lisburn road a combined casual and scarfer attack left many Poles in a bad way, and many other incidents saw poles getting the heads dug off them around the city.

I do wish you'd stop with your pathetic attempts at Jew baiting. Firstly you're only embarassing yourself, secondly you are perpetuation the image that the rest of the world has of Poles being anti-semites, thirdly I'm not Jewish so it really does not bother me.

As for saying things to your face, you know my name, you know where I live and where I drink. Feel very free to come visit me anytime you want. I imagine that I'll have a very very long wait for you....

That comment is a disgrace. You are not helping your fellow countrymen of who the majority are making valid comments. All paramiliteries are scum. I like your username by the way. It's strange to see a loyalist using an Irish language username. Fair play to the North however. They've come on a lot in the past three years. At least they go out to win the match which is more than you can say for us.

I can assure everyone that the moron's on here threatening that they are gonna do this and that when they come to Poland in September will be nowhere near Poland .

I say this because as well as going to all home games i have been travelling to most away games with Northern Ireland for many years and such a hooligan element simply doesn't exist in our ranks (nor would it be tolerated), it's very easy to sit at home and become a keyboard warrior (just like filios) but it's another thing to actually go to Poland (or Belfast) and actually confront the people who you are threatening, i notice for all his mouthing the self proclaimed hard man that is Filios was nowhere to be seen in Belfast last week.

Exactly like idiot's who come on here shouting about paramilitary groups and what they are gonna do in September. Pathetic. If you really want a fight why don't you arrange a private fight with Filios and his idiot friend's for September instead of shaming Real fans with your stupid talk.

I guarantee that 99.9% of the hard talk it is all just hot air. I also think the game will pass of largely peacefull, from what i have see on the net there is possably no better police force in the world to deal with this, after all it's not as if they don't have enough expertise in dealing with this type of ( what has now become a ) high profile game.

I will be in Poland for the game and i look forward to it watching Northern Ireland put another few goals past Borat.

back up there a bit, generally NI does not have an active "firm" so to speak, but certain "minded" individuals do travel on occasion and without your permission or toleration, Wales being a prime example.

Now Im not saying I support football violence or "casuals", but for certain games, I for one would not oppose their appearance
