Quoting: Amathyst Quoting: PolskaSila And a lot more more more , the leaders from hools firms are only oldmans ! Untrue.......how many English firms do you know??? :) trust me hooligans are a dying breed in the UK people dont really get that involved in it these days...its rather old hat as we say here in the UK, maybe a few losers still trying to hang on to it but in general hooligans are considered a bit pathetic and thats by people that used te be in to it themselves...as for the younger ones, they cant aford to travel up and down the country let alone aford a season ticket for the games....hooligans have had their day in the UK...maybe a few trouble causers at matches but nothing like it used to be, Poland are bit behind the times if they think its cool to be a hooligan....
Couldnt agree more. Those dark days in the 1980's where football was no where in terms of popular culture, no one could have forseen the media circus that it is now. I maintain that its safer to attend a match in England than anywhere else in Europe with the security measures and top flight stadia being all-seated. What does annoy me is that the media goes into overkill when an English supporter farts in Europe and talk of banning English clubs comes into play, when a lot worse happens elsewhere. Sure, there will always be an idiot element with football supporters, but thankfully the hooliganism is dead in the past.
