I kinda think it goes something like this....let's see if you can correct me. When the offensive team is near the opponents goal box (seems like there is a distance thingie but I can't remember how close) the guy with the ball cannot be forward of the opposing teams nearest player to the goal. scratches head Feels like I'm leaving something out....I know there is something about body parts, like if the strikers arm or leg is ahead of the opposing team line???? Thank god for refs and instant replay, huh? :)

hmm well offsides is complicated and a judgement call. a player must have 2 players from the opposing team between or in line with him and the goal when the ball is passed to him. dont worry the referees get it wrong all the time like in the eu cup
