UEFA: Anti-racist message loud and clear in Warsaw..

The third Unite Against Racism conference – staged by UEFA, the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network and the international players' union FIFPro – has opened in the Polish capital Warsaw with calls from speakers for diversity in football to be celebrated and nurtured, and for efforts to be stepped up in the growing campaign to eliminate racism, intolerance and discrimination from the game.

The problem is, while they might stamp out group racism they can't stamp out individual racism. I'm a Hibs fan here and while at a game last year at Easter Road a Hibs fan, infact season ticket holder, gave Yves Ma-Kalambay some real foul-mouthed stuff. They only way that kind of indiviual racism gets dealt with is if others fans around him report him. You can't get rid of individual racism, at least I feel sadly it's nigh on impossible.

Every one of these stupid racism summits have devolved into being hijacked by racial scolds with other agendas. Every message board I have ever been on people talk just like they do here about this topic. The vast majority of decent folks are sick and tired of the endless racial scoldings, the engineered and PC coerced “diversity” BS and the rampant hypocritical reverse racism. So the problem it would seem are the apologist Libs who insist on keeping this crap alive and shoving it down our kids throats. The benefits of coerced diversity are a Liberal lie. It causes more racial resentment than it helps anything. Libs always push too far with their “corrective” measures. They need to let it go and STFU and just be.

Or do you mean that the best players are picked regardless of race? As a matter of interest, I do very often complain about the only policy I know of which factors skin colour in when picking national teams (i.e. that of the South African cricket team).

What this message speaks about is those hates that have grown in polish league games, hates against other fans...even polish fans hate themselves...as long as there is something to differentiate them from other...like what part of Poland the other fans comes from... the kind of hairstyle the opponents fans have....etc Watch a typical polish league game and u would be convinced that poles also hate themselves.This is also present around the world, but Poland is just off the balance. way above the Top. In addition if a non white guy finds himself by error in a polish match...he doesnt need to be a supporter or opponent of any team...he will definitely be abused...and Injured possible. This is racism from Poles against themselves and obviously against non-Poles...

People are muddling the issue here. The point is, in America anyway, when it is business or jobs or anything else usually dominated by whites, blacks and their apologists scream blood murder about “racism” and some manufactured “need” for “diversity” (-which has become nothing more than a code word meaning “more black”). And they set about bullying affirmative action and racial setasides and the like. But when it is something overwhelmingly dominated by blacks, well, that’s another story. Suddenly the 95% black racial make up of the NBA is just fine and dandy, no “need” for engineered and coerced diversity there, it’s whoever is the most talented should have the job, they say. Whites be damned. The diversity/ PC crowd is full of such hypocritical double standards and contradictions. They don't really want equality; they want equality that favors blacks. And their dishonest efforts invariably end up causing more harm –in this case racial friction- than good.

I was very much opposed to the exclusion of South Africa from the sporting world and have still got my original Springbok jersey (the one where the bok jumps into the heart, not out of the country).

Your problems in America are no doubt hugely interesting but we are talking about slightly different problems: for example, non-white players being attacked by fans of the club they play for because those fans want the team to be exclusively white. I might not know if it is possible for a racist to be kosher (I'll defer to your superior knowledge Greg, seeing as you are a Jew and I'm not) but I do know that nobody had mentioned anti-semitism in this thread until you did.

There are quite a few Polish people on here (I am not one but I do live in Poland) and they and other better members of this forum tend not to bother with these threads a lot of the time, it gets boring after a while. Try some other threads, they are more progressive, entertaining and informative. Oh, and welcome to the Polish Forums !
