Volleyball: Poland beats Spain - semi-finals in sight

Poland defeated Spain 3:2 at the 2009 Men's European Volleyball Championship.



The win is seen a little like beating Brazil in football such is the prowess of the Spaniards at volleyball, who are the current European champions.

The Poles are in final!!! They just beat Bulgaria, 3-0.
The Poles are still unbeaten in the tournament.
If i remember well, they'll play against the winner of the game Russia vs France.

I am realy disappointed that Russia lost in the semi finals. I wanted to see mach Poland Russia game as the final - not because I prefere Russians over the French but bacuse I am in Moscow right now ... and I wated to go to the pub and see the game - it would be interesting as volleyball is very popular in Russia. From the other hand now Russians already are on worst place as we are and it is much better for me as long as I am in Russia.

anny way ... Poland - France mach will be less controversial game from different points of view but I hope Poland will win. Anny way, Poland already has great success.

Last games between France and Poland were quite easily won by Poland. That's a good thing to know ;) I'll be supporting Poland tomorrow, even if i'm in France.

Yup, great! 3-1 against France.
Poland just beat every team they met in this tournament. This gold medal is totally deserved.
France only lost 2 games, both against Poland ;)
