Help with air travel from US to Poland

I am flying from DFW to Chicago on US Airways, and then from Chicago to Warsaw on LOT, and then Warsaw to Gdańsk on LOT. Has anyone had a similar flight from US to Poland using 2 different airlines, because I want to know if I have to pick up my luggage after each flight, or if my luggage will go all the way to Gdańsk, or pick up in Chicago only, or Warsaw only, or what.

I am meeting friends when I arrive to Gdańsk, but I would like to be clean after an all night flight :P

pgtx: it should arrive in Gdansk... how much time do you have between each flight? about 2 hours in Chicago, and 4 hours in Warsaw puercoespin: sure thing but do not forget your body wash..lol So there are showers in WAW that I can use for sure? that would be great! And I definitely won't forget any body wash :P Another reason I ask about the luggage is so I will know if I have to take some small bottles of shampoo, body wash, ect with me on my carry on bag.

klakak: about 2 hours in Chicago, and 4 hours in Warsaw so no problem... you'll see it in Gdansk...

Those are the people you should ask.

klakak: Another reason I ask about the luggage is so I will know if I have to take some small bottles of shampoo, body wash, ect with me on my carry on bag. there are restriction on the size of liquids for your carry on bag-check with airlines, otherwise you might end up without the body wash in Warsaw;)

Haha yea, I was reading up on that. At Wal-Mart, they have containers of the max size that you can have in a container, so I will get some and fill them up before I go :)

Make sure to go to the international terminal right away when after landing in Chicago as international security will take some time to get through...
