Krakow or Warsaw?? Which is the best to stay in for one month?

HI everyone, im going to spend one month in Poland, in July, for a study program, i get to pick a city, i heard Krakow is very beautiful...
i would like somewhere were i can do a lot of activities, sight seeing and where there is good shopping too..so should i go to Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw or Poznan?

I will not say anything about the other places you have mentioned as I do not know them well enough.

But I Love Krakow and surrounding areas like Zakopane.

All of Wroclaw's sights can be seen in two or three days. Add a couple of days, if you want to use Wroclaw as your base and visit the surrounding area.

You'll find more in Krakow, but better night life in Wroclaw.

Thnx a lot guyz...i think Krakow is the best choice, i checked the city out on the internet and i like it a lot :D im so looking forward to visit your beautiful country !!

warsaw is awesome and it'd take you all summer to check out the main cool things about it. BUT if you like mountains the go to krakow, 4 sure.

Hi people, i've asked before, about spending a month in Poland in July whether Warsaw or Krakow were a better choice...now Someone recommended Gdansk...
please share your opinion, is Gdansk a good choice for a whole month? or will i get bored?
