Need suggestions for things to do in Wroclaw and Krakow - August

Hi,

If anyone is familiar with Wroclaw or Krakow in August, could you suggest for me some family-based events, please ?

My parents, my brother and sister and their partners, are all heading over for a week in August. First time for all of them.

Now, the thing is the kids. One is 16, so he'll be ok. The others are 10, 9, and 7.

We are in Wroclaw for the 5th, 6th, and 7th of August.

We are in Krakow for the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th.

In particular I need to find something good in Krakow for the three youngest while the others go to Oswięcim.

But for everyone's sake we will mix the architecture and sightseeing with the more aquapark/funfair/zoo kind of activity.

Any suggestions ?

If there is an adult with three younger ones, while others go to the Oswięcim, I would recommend going to the Salt Mine. This should be quite an experience for all and something that will interest children.

For Wrocław, I believe there is a zoo.

In relation to the recommendation of Lori I would suggest going to the Salt Mine with the whole family. I would suggest a tour on the bus around Krakow, visit to the Zoo (http://www.zoo-krakow.pl/) or Aqua Park (http://www.parkwodny.pl/eng/index.php) Towards summer there will more information about children's attractions and activities going around Krakow.
