Okay, I give up. I've been looking all day for travel insurance in Poland that covers document loss - specifically my passport. It appears that the 'big' companies simply don't offer it, so does anyone have any ideas?

I'm just looking for something equal to your average UK policy that covers medical and possessions. Any ideas?

Found the answer - worldnomads.com. It's pricey, 8EUR for three days - but it covers all the important things that Polish insurers don't cover.
