Over stay in Poland, will I be charged a fine at the airport?

Any fun border patrol stories from Warsaw airport? I'm finally leaving Poland. Thought I was getting married.. i guess not.Drama drama. so an overstay of 4.5 months. Do you think border patrol will make me pay a fine at the airport in order to leave.... i dont have any money, someone else is buying the ticket for me to come home.

If not, then it's very unlikely that you'll be fined - the worst case scenario is that you'll simply have a stamp in your passport banning you from Schengen for a time (5 years is the figure thrown around, but I doubt they'll be so draconian). I doubt they'll bother to fine you, especially if you don't have the means to pay the fine. Of course, this all assumes that they'll even notice. Schengen is terribly hit or miss for conducting proper entry/exit checks...

oh yeah, Forgot to mention a month ago...... Nothing happened, I told border patrol my story and 5 minutes later they said just don't let it happen again. That's it :) Did I get lucky or what?

Yeah to visit friends :) Don't plan on living there, but you never know:) I think next trip will be Colombia and then back to Poland

Maybe, only if it's in the car business..... Depends on a couple different countries economies :) that just me daydreaming for now..
