Poznan - Warsaw Drive or take the train?

Have a few meeting in Warsaw on Monday, I've never been there before, Just wanted some opinions on what the best way of getting there is? I was going to drive as I do quite a lot of driving in Poland and utterly hate it but wondered whether the train would be quicker and more cost effective? Is the road any good? I was impressed by the road to Zakopane last weekend and also the way the majority of users actually knew how to use a motorway "keeping out of the bmw lane when not overtaking etc"

Advice welcome

Thanks in advance

The train is going to be quicker and easier. Plus you won't have the hassle of finding a parking space in Warsaw. I wouldn't even dream of driving to Poznan (I live in Warsaw and visit Poznan from time to time).

Hows the A2 looking up there? can you drive straight to Warsaw from Poznan on a motorway yet?

I'm not sure if the A2 is finished yet as I usually only go from nowy tomysz to Poznan, On the viamichelin website its says there is 160 miles of motorway but i'm not sure how accurate that is,

WB I drove through Wroclaw the other day and i don't understand how manage to negotiate those roads in a low slung sports coupe!

Can be tricky sometimes, my motto is every man for himself, if you cant beat em join em.

Cant wait to get the motorways finished atleast the A1, A2 & A3.

Driving it is! Espana, what are you listening to in that video? Theres nothing more comical than 140 mph whilst listening to abba early in the morning on a polish motorway,

If the roads mostly like that then i might have to risk it by car :)

keeping out of the bmw lane
Whats the difference between a BMW and a hedgehog?

The hedgehog has pricks on the outside :-)

Driving it is!

The train is about 3 hours (usually less) and I've never heard of anyone making it in a car in under 4 (usually 5 or more) and Warsaw is no fun to drive (or find a place to park in).

The only reason I can think of to drive is if you're carrying lots of stuff.

The last time I went to Warsaw by 4 wheel vehicle (yes, a long time ago) the nice four-lane part was less than half the way and most of it was 2lane hell.
