I shall be spending a wednesday night in Gdansk , before wandering off to the airport to have a little sleep ready to catch a plane at 6am the next morning.....

Anyone got any suggestions as to what i can do to entertain myself for the evening in Gdansk , or can i find some place to amuse myself at the airport...?

Leave the city for Sopot instead, just minutes away by train. While there enjoy the beach and small town feel Sopot has.
Eee, maybe not a good idea for you as you are in the bushes of Zachodniopomorskie and may enjoy crowd, noise and the rush.

I don,t mind a bit of noise and a crowd for a few hours , it will make a change from my quiet farm where i sometimes do not see any people for days....

Have a good trip, Wildrover. When I stayed in Gdańsk, I found the airport like most to be close to the city centre, but not a place where there was much to do.

There are lots of places in Gdańsk to have a good time, and there is public transportation to the airport.

This link is for getting from the city centre to the airport.

There is a full directory of pubs and clubs, and map links connected with this site. Here's one that sounded good, but then again, I did not go there.

O.K. :-)

If I remember correctly, it is about a 10 minute walk from that area to the bus and train area.
