(be your honest best ) I haven't tried enough of the food to be able to compare it adequately but I've absolutely loved the Polish food that I've tried. If I go to a restaurant that has a variety of foods, I'll order the Polish food because I like it better. I even tried Polish chocolate cake and it was the best chocolate cake ever because it wasn't too sweet but it was very rich. I plan to go to the different Polish deli's and restaurants in L.A. to see what they're like. My favorite food is from India, though. What about you? How do you think it compares to other foods?shewolf Apr 18, 2007, 05:33pm / #7Quoting: Helen Nice, thanks! Anyone else? Polish dance, music? I'll take anything... What a pity.Did they relocate or shut down? I only know of 2 Polish restaurants, Polka in Eagle Rock and Warszawa in Santa Monica. I have tried to convince my friends to go with me but no one seems to be interested or they are too busy.I am interested in different types of ethnic cuisine but not many of my friends are or they don't know much about this. Usually, what happens is I venture out on my own.beckski Jun 6, 2009, 02:03am / #13sikat_ckat: Did they relocate or shut down? They shut down. The actual name of the restaurant was Mr. Smoke BBQ. I know... it wasn't much of a name for a Polish restaurant. There's a restaurant in San Bernardino, called Gazzolo's. The owners are Polish & Italian. They serve homemade Polish kielbasa, made on the premises. Their delicious food is to die for.Polonius3 Jun 7, 2009, 04:14pm / #14ARE THESE STILL IN EXISTENCE:Chopin Cafe1574 Palos Verdes Mall, Walnut Creek CA 94596 USAmore Old Krakow Polish Restaurant & Art Cafe385 West Portal Ave., San Francisco CA 94127 USAmore Polish Restaurant Chopin Cafe1574 Palos Verdes Mall, Walnut Creek CA 94596 USAmore Warszawa Restaurant1414 Lincoln Blvd, Santa Monica CA 90401 USAmorebeckski Jun 9, 2009, 06:22am / #15Polonius3: ARE THESE STILL IN EXISTENCE:As far as I know Warszawa Restaurant is still open for business.
