ADVICE: WANT TO TEACH ENGLISH IN POLAND WITH TESL WILL I GET HIRED!!!

I am unable to take the CELTA training course but I'm starting the TESL training course in toronto. TESL stands for Teaching English as a Second Language. Im taking the course starting June 1st till June 29th its 100 hours training and 20 hours actually teaching esl. Im also taking it at International house, apparently many people teach in Poland after the TESL. I am also a university and college graduate.

I guess what I'm asking is if I will be hired in as an english teacher in Poland more specifically Wroclaw?

ya you should but from what i can gather they want you be qualifed teacher first then do tesl course but they will accept both

by both you mean the TESL and CELTA, I was informed that the TESL is the same thing as the CELTA but its not British, its like the Canadian/American version of the CELTA.

Rubbish half the Brits teaching English in Poland dont have professional teaching quals. I dont see why she wouldnt be able to find some work with TESL.

I just checked out the application form for IH celta. Why the hell do they require applicants to submit a self photo along with the form????

you'll find a job anywhere but make sure you'll get paid. Some schools have problems with paying teachers in time

Hey czesc, I have a TEFL and a degree (Bsc Psychology), and I find that there are many jobs available for native speakers with these qualifications. Good luck, spoko morocco!

...This is the usual requirement when you apply for any job in Poland. There is nothing sinister in it.

Hello, I took a CELTA is Lisbon and made my way to IH Bydgoszcz.. They do need a CELTA but some people have sneaked in with a TEFL... Yeah they also love pictures... especially profile ones. :)

well im finishing the TESL course soon at International House in Toronto, I wanted to take the CELTA but they didn't offer it there! I spoke to one of my advisors and she said the TESL is the same thing as the CELTA but its Canadian certified. Its 100class hours and 20 hours class observation and teaching classes.
I want to move to Wroclaw and teach there!

I applied to both IH's in Wroclaw along with like 6 other schools in Wroclaw, so i applied on Friday 3rd of July was wondering if anyone knows how long schl take to reply back for an interview or contract?.... IM REALLY HOPING TO HAVE A JOB LINED UP BY JULY 18TH!
