I'll be moving to poznan in februay and I am thrilled about it. I've been hearding lots of good stuff about Poland and I met those wonderfull polish people who told me I was going to adore it.
What can an Erasmus student can expect from going from Portugal to Poznan ? Is it easy for a foreigner to get adapted ? Is it a fun place to be ? Are there anyone from Poznan out here ? Thanks a lot fellows !

Hey Mystery, i've never been to Poznan but i've heard it's a nice place. You won't be the only foreigner there, many students and foreign companies i guess.
Oh, their football team is really nice too ;)

Thank you guys for the kind replies. I've been emailed by the faculty today and they asked me if I wanted to stay on their dormitories. The link for the dormitories is: http://www.hstl.put.poznan.pl/index.php?id=50,0,0,1,0,0

Do you know if it is near Polytechika Poznanska ? Is that a good spot to live ?

Thanks once again guys

answer is higly dependable from what u expect, u have evrything near dormitory what u need in regular life, some shops, medic, cashpoint, post, gym, cafeteria and some bar... ;] near to center, and old city, one of Politechnika buildings is just in front of those dormitories, second is on Wilda, there is good conection with tram, around 10-15 min ride, there is third one too but im not sure where is it :P
