I need help finding English pre-school in Lublin for my 4 year old son before I come to poland to study.

Some are offering teaching English but English as the main language... hmmm...

I have lived and worked in Lublin for six years now and must advise you to contact the British Council. Their number in Lublin is 0048 81 741 86 24. Hope this helps. They obviously speak English and will help you to find a pre-school for your children.

Thank you red-devil. I will call the number you provided. Since you are familiar with Lublin, can you give me some additional information? In particular, I'd like to know how difficult it is to purchase a used car in Lublin. Is it difficult to get registered and insurance, etc.

Hi Sandy, with that I can't help as I don't drive. Lublin is very easy to get around by walking. :) But, from what I know when Polish people go to England, they just have to send their Polish license to the DVLA office and they check and issue an English license. Most EU countries do this. Hope this helps. :)

P.S. Very few Polish drivers have insurance so beware!

Hello, is there anyone looking for English pre-school in Lublin yet? I'm thinking of opening Club for Children with English as the main language. It won't be a full kindergarten but, for a good beginning, 4-5 hours club (morning hours).
I have few kids who are eager to learn everything including reading, counting, singing, playing violin and English off course… they don’t fit traditional school system (except Montessori, but it’s not easy to get there) – that is my personal motivation.
We will teach children to read (global reading by Glenn Doman), to play violin (Suzuki), we will have elements of Montessori method and Veronica Sherborne Movement, drama and art lessons, lots of experiments and fun.
What do you thing? Who would be interested?
We should start in January 2010 and will be located in the centre of Lublin.
