Is it hard to find a job in Poland?

Hey guys its loki agian i have a some ? about poland i have talked to alot of pepole in canada hamilton ontario and i always ask them how life is in poland they say to my like 50% that you wont find a job that its poor and that its harder to live in poland where i wanna live and where my family is in bochnia that you cant find a job and its so hard then when i talk to the older generation they said that they should have never left i was wondering if you guys could bust some this myths
im currenly in the process of geting my polish citazship and cant wait to get out of hamilton ontario i would like to start over agian with my family this time behind me any ways long story but tell me the truth is it that hard in poland or should i just give up on the polish citaznship thank for the input i really apperate it loki

If you don't speak Polish and with such dreadful English skills, you'll find it next to impossible to survive in Poland. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

How old are you? Go away, educate yourself properly, take the time to learn Polish to at least conversational level and then consider a move to Poland. Otherwise, don't waste your time.

As for Polish citizenship - what's your entitlement?

It depends on what you compare with.

But generally it's not so easy to get a job in Poland. If you don't speak Polish it's very difficult.

It used to be that any English-speaking yokel was practically guaranteed a job, and even the less ambitious (EFL teachers) could get by just fine on inflated "native speaker" salaries. But no more, the times of the free ride for native speakers are over, and Poland continues to be a place where good work is hard to find unless someone sets you up, unless of course you possess some in-demand skill (database wiz, IT expert, etc) but even then you will make less than you would at home. Also, Poland used to be cheaper so that you could get by on that lower Polish salary, but a few years of EU membership have ruined that. Don't be fooled by those nostalgic older generation Polaks in Hamilton, many of those people relocate here only to regret it later...

Loki, the people of Hamilton are correct. Life in Poland is much more difficult than in Canada. Want a good life for you and your family? Stay in Canada.

btw you need to work on your spelling and grammar.

Stay in canada. You will have better prospects there. Try Poland in a decade or so.

..and I just got a call from a Warsaw-based cousin telling me that the employment situation in Canada is sketchy and it might be better to stay in Poland instead of going to Toronto to seek greener pastures. Funny.

Since the number of unemployed peaple in poland, it is hard to say that it is easy to find job in Poland. Moreover, it is one of the most serious problem, you will be fed up with Karta pobytu (permit of settlement in Poland). We have to apply for karta pobytu in city office to stay in Poland, Polish workers in such office are basiclly lazy. To enter the office, we have to wait in front of the office from 2am (even opening hours are 8:00~). For instance, I had such experience. Now, the situation has been modified but wokers are still lazy.

Canadian life is better and easier. I strongly propose you to stay in canada.

In addition, I am Japanese. I wrote my opinion from my point of view.
