Jobs in Krakow (for mathematicians?)

I’ll spare you the details; let’s just say people do stupid things when they fall in love. I’ve been in US almost half of my life. I’ve only finished grammar school in Poland, and I got my High School and Univ done here in the US (I have a degree in mathematics with concentration in actuarial science). What is the current job market in Poland (Krakow to be precise) for a person like me? I’d like to avoid teaching positions, but if nothing else… And suggestions?

northrop: let’s just say people do stupid things when they fall in love. We sure do. But following your love back to Poland isn’t one of them. Think of it as an added layer to love’s sweet adventure.

Dunno about that. I’ve been in this exact same situation years ago, and decided against it. And it worked out well for both of us. And my move back to Poland isn’t set in stone yet. I’m just testing the waters now.
